EMDR Intensives for Women in Goodyear, Arizona Ready to Heal and Rise

You’ve done the work. You’ve shown up, read the books, pushed through — but something inside still feels stuck.
Weekly therapy can help, but it often moves slowly when what you really need is relief, and the faster the better.
That’s what EMDR Intensives are for — a focused, immersive path to healing — designed to help you break through whatever is holding you back and reclaim your sense of peace, power, and possibility. And in just a few days!

Does any of this sound familiar?

You’ve been through therapy before, but the same triggers still show up — anxiety that grips out of nowhere, self-doubt that won’t quiet down, or memories that sneak into your relationships and work.

You’re high-functioning, capable, and dependable — but also tired of being “the strong one.” You’re craving rest and relief.

And deep down, you know you’re ready for something more. You’re ready to stop surviving and start living.

What if you could…

Picture yourself calm, clear, and confident in your choices, relationships, and identity. The constant overthinking quiets down. The pull of the past loosens its grip. You start living with more ease, more clarity, more peace.

Reconnect with your inner strength — not the kind that braces for impact, but the kind that feels steady and safe. You leave with closure, tools, and a renewed sense of confidence to move forward fully.

What if healing didn’t have to take months or years? Imagine releasing emotional wounds that have followed you for far too long — and finally feeling that shift in just a few focused days.

INTRODUCING

The EMDR Intensive Experience

This isn’t traditional therapy. It’s transformational healing, concentrated into a short period of deep, focused work.

An EMDR Intensive gives you hours of uninterrupted therapy designed for powerful breakthroughs. You’re not rushing to open up and close down every 50 minutes. You have space — to breathe, process, release, and rebuild.

Each intensive is crafted around you: your story, your pace, your nervous system. You’ll walk away with both emotional freedom and tangible strategies to help you stay grounded and growing after your intensive ends.

One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is you sometimes have to go back and process the uncomfortable things in order to heal…EMDR helped me unlock certain emotions and move forward in my life.”

  • From there, you’ll engage in three powerful days of immersive EMDR therapy, each day including five hours of focused work with a one-hour break for lunch, rest and integration.
  • This format allows you to experience weeks or months of healing in a fraction of the time — without the emotional whiplash of stopping and starting every week.

Frequently Asked Questions about EMDR Therapy Intensives in Goodyear, Arizona

Therapy intensives are extended sessions designed to help you move through emotional healing more efficiently than traditional weekly therapy. Instead of one hour a week, you dedicate several hours over a few consecutive days to go deeper, stay focused, and experience significant breakthroughs in a shorter amount of time. You can expect an equivalent of about 6 months of growth and healing from one Intensive Therapy Booking.

EMDR Intensives at Elysian Renewal Counseling & Wellness are specialized therapy experiences that combine the proven effectiveness of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) with a boutique, high-touch approach. Offered in Goodyear, Arizona, and online for clients in Arizona, these intensives help women, teens, and children process trauma, anxiety, and self-doubt in a focused and supportive environment.

Our specialty is working with women and children, however we often work with men and do so very successfully. Feel free to reach out for a free consultation to see if we are a good fit whoever you are!

Yes. Research and client experiences show that therapy intensives often produce faster and more lasting results than traditional weekly therapy, particularly for trauma (anything from the past that is continuing to affect you today) and anxiety. The immersive structure allows your brain to stay in the healing process without constant interruptions, helping you integrate progress more effectively.

EMDR Intensives are available for adults and children age 9 and older. For younger clients, eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis to ensure emotional readiness and developmental appropriateness. Adults of all backgrounds are welcome, and the process begins with a 15-minute free consultation call to confirm that an intensive is the right fit.

EMDR intensives allow you to make months of progress in days. They help reduce symptoms of trauma, anxiety, and self-doubt, improve emotional regulation, and restore confidence and peace. Because the work is concentrated, clients often experience greater relief, deeper insights, and longer-lasting results.

Each adult intensive includes:

  • A 90-minute online or in person intake and preparation session
  • Three days of immersive EMDR therapy (5 hours per day with a one-hour lunch break)
This totals 16.5 hours of focused healing.

For children and teens, the intensive includes 6.5 hours over three shorter days, allowing for age-appropriate pacing and integration.

For adults, EMDR Intensives include 16.5 total hours spread across four days (one intake + three therapy days).
For children and teens, intensives span 6.5 hours over three days.

Studies show EMDR is one of the most effective treatments for trauma. Research indicates that up to up to 90% of single-trauma victims no longer have PTSD after only 3 90-minute sessions. Another study found that 100% of single-trauma victims and 77% of multiple-trauma victims no longer were diagnosed with PTSD after only six 50-minute sessions. While each person’s healing journey is unique, many find that intensive EMDR creates profound and lasting relief in a shorter period of time.

If you value deep, lasting transformation, absolutely. EMDR intensives are ideal for people who want meaningful progress without waiting months between sessions. The immersive format allows for true focus and change — an investment in peace, time, and personal freedom.

Adults: $6,000

  • Includes 90-minute intake and three 5-hour therapy days
  • $500 to book intake, $2,500 non-refundable deposit, and $3,000 due first day

Children and Teens: $2,500

Includes three shorter days (6.5 total hours)

EMDR is safe and research-supported, but it can be emotionally intense. Processing deep memories may bring temporary feelings of fatigue, sadness, or vivid dreams. These sensations usually pass quickly and signal that your brain is reprocessing experiences. At Elysian Renewal, we move at your pace and prioritize safety every step of the way.

EMDR intensives can address:

  • Performance anxiety for entrepreneurs, professionals, or creatives
  • Childhood or relationship trauma
  • Anxiety and panic
  • Low self-esteem and imposter syndrome
  • Religious trauma
  • Grief and loss
  • Emotional triggers affecting relationships or work
  • And much more! Reach out if you want to see if we can support you with your particular growth or healing.

People experiencing active psychosis, untreated substance dependence, a physical ailment that bilateral stimulation would exacerbate (check with your doctor if you are unsure) or acute crisis may need stabilization before EMDR. This will be discussed during your intake to ensure EMDR is safe and effective for your situation.

Occasionally, yes — especially early in the process as your brain integrates new information. These dreams usually fade quickly and are part of natural healing. We discuss this possibility and teach regulation tools to help manage any temporary discomfort.

Yes. EMDR intensives are available online for residents physically located within Arizona at the time of the session.

Unlike talk therapy, EMDR helps the brain reprocess painful memories directly, reducing their emotional charge without requiring you to re-tell every detail.

Yes. Clients often choose an intensive when they want to target something that feels particularly stuck or they want to feel better about one thing quickly. Many clients continue working with their regular therapist before or after their EMDR Intensive. Collaboration and continuity of care are welcome.

Elysian Renewal offers a specialized, high-support experience. You’ll receive individualized care, clear preparation, and structured integration afterward to make sure your healing continues beyond the intensive.

Whether you attend in person at our Goodyear office or online from anywhere in Arizona, this experience is designed to help you heal deeply — and step confidently into your next chapter.

We believe in doing therapy differently.
